The Nitrokey Fido U2F is the most affordable of the bunch at 22 Euros (that's about $25, depending on exchange rate), and it's the only one solely dedicated to 2FA. They can store email and disk encryption keys, and a few even come with onboard secure storage. Most of these devices are centered around secure storage and encryption. Nitrokey is a German company that sells a variety of USB stick security devices. That said, if using a security key sounds like too much hassle, you should enable 2FA in whatever way makes sense for you. Google proved this when the company rolled out security keys to all 85,000 of its employees and saw that successful phishing attacks dropped to zero. Unlike codes generated by an app, they can't be phished. Unlike one-time codes sent via SMS, they can't be intercepted. While there are a lot of ways to add 2FA, hardware security keys like Nitrokey Fido U2F have definite advantages. It works because although your password might be phished or exposed in a data breach, the other two are very difficult to obtain or spoof. We're stuck with passwords for now, so that's why 2FA's de facto meaning is adding one of the other two to a password. A hardware key or authenticator app is something you have, and a fingerprint or other biometric is something you are.
